You're Invited: Autumn Equinox Celebration

There is something about the changing of seasons that invites us to slow down.
Summer has a way of filling our days with movement, plans, longer evenings, and a little more freedom. Then September arrives, the air begins to change, and we find ourselves standing at the edge of something new. The Autumn Equinox gives us a natural moment to pause and notice where we are before we rush ahead into everything that comes next.
That is what I want to do this year.
On Tuesday, September 22 at 5:00 PM, I’m opening the Becoming Garden for an Autumn Equinox Celebration.
We'll share a healthy dinner, gather around the bonfire, have some real conversations, and spend an evening simply being together as we welcome autumn. We'll talk about what we're noticing, what we're grateful for, what we want to carry forward, and maybe even what we're ready to leave behind.
There won't be a presentation or a list of things you need to accomplish. I don't want to make this another thing to check off your calendar. I want it to be a space where you can slow down, connect with good people, and actually be present for the season you're entering.
And I don't know exactly what the evening will bring.
That's part of what I love about it.
If you'd like to bring a dish to pass, you're welcome to, but it isn't necessary. Just bring yourself—and, if you'd like, someone you'd enjoy sitting around the fire with.
