Becoming Twilight: A Summer Solstice Garden Gathering

There are certain moments in life that quietly mark the beginning of something new.
Not because everything suddenly changes overnight, but because somewhere along the way, you realize you are no longer standing in the same season you once were.
Nearly eleven years ago, on a cold winter night outside an old farmhouse, I stood beneath a sky full of stars and felt something inside me become still enough to finally listen. I did not understand it completely at the time, but looking back now, I can see that night became the beginning of everything that would eventually grow into Becoming.
At the time, I was rebuilding my life. I had walked away from what was familiar and stepped into uncertainty with no real map for where life would lead next. All I knew was that standing beneath those stars, I felt fully present with myself for the first time in years. The stars became a kind of compass for me, not because they gave me answers, but because they reminded me to return to what felt true.
And now, years later, I find myself preparing to stand beneath the stars once again in a very different season of life.
This year, on the Summer Solstice, I will be celebrating the release of Becoming Aligned (Summer) with a garden gathering at my home surrounded by flowers, vegetables, music, bonfires, and the people who have supported and walked beside me through these many seasons of Becoming.
Over the past year, my family and I have spent countless hours building what we now call the Becoming Garden. We planted flowers and vegetables, built trellises, worked the soil with our hands, and slowly created a space that has become a living reflection of everything this philosophy means to me. The garden reminds me constantly that growth cannot be rushed. It asks for patience, presence, trust, care, and a willingness to work with the rhythms of life instead of against them.
And somehow, it feels incredibly fitting that this celebration is happening here.
Not in the old farmhouse where Becoming quietly began beneath a winter sky, but here in a home filled with life, growth, community, creativity, and the people I love. The stars above will be the same. But I will not.
This evening is not simply a book release party to me.
It feels like a celebration of seasons. A celebration of growth, reflection, alignment, community, creativity, healing, and all of the ways life slowly transforms us over time when we are willing to live honestly within it.
There will be music playing beneath the twilight sky, flowers in bloom, gardens overflowing with summer growth, bonfires burning as night settles in, tarot readings for reflection and insight, and space to gather together beneath another sky full of stars.
And perhaps most meaningfully, it feels like the beginning of the next season of Becoming.
For years, so much of this work has existed internally through reflection, writing, learning, coaching, photographing nature, and trying to understand what intentional living truly means beneath the surface. But lately, I have felt something shifting again, a sense that what has been growing quietly for so long is now asking to be shared more openly and more visibly with the world.
That next season is Autumn: Becoming Expressive.
And this gathering feels like the threshold between those worlds.
I would truly love to celebrate this moment with the people who have supported my work, read these books, listened to the podcast, attended workshops, shared conversations with me, or simply walked alongside me through different seasons of life.
