The Foundations Behavior Change Program

Wellness is an ongoing journey. I've been using Foundations for over ten years, navigating various life stages, including fitness levels, emotional challenges, divorce, parenting, empty nesting, knee replacement, relationship changes, financial crises, and peri-menopause. Throughout these experiences, it has been my anchor, providing balance, focus, motivation, and accountability, while helping me clarify my life goals and pursue my dreams. The obstacles I've faced are common to many, and while my goals have evolved as I have, Foundations has consistently guided me through. During a presentation at a local hospital, someone remarked, “It seems like it is a lot of.” I won't deny it; it requires effort and isn’t always easy, but the rewards are absolutely worth it.

 

Foundations is not merely a workout plan, diet, or weight loss strategy. It’s not a quick-fix solution or a pill. Instead, it is a comprehensive wellness program built on a solid foundation, considering all eight dimensions of wellness. Don’t settle for less. You have the power to take control of your life and deserve nothing but the best. Foundations will equip you with the tools to shape your life into everything you desire.

Why is behavior change so hard?

Many of our actions are influenced by habits, which can make it difficult to create new ones and break negative ones. Your success is closely tied to your daily habits—the choices you make each day. By establishing a solid base of healthy habits, empower yourself to tackle challenges and apply this mindset across all areas of your life.

 

I view Foundations as a behavioral change experiment, where the data gathered allows you to analyze and understand your behavior patterns. You'll start to recognize which strategies work well and which do not, enabling you to adjust your actions until you discover the best approaches for you and prevent any potential relapses.

 

Foundations serves as a tool to keep you accountable and motivated in your journey toward your goals, helping you feel balanced and centered while striving for consistency in your new routine.

My Approach

It may seem straightforward, but when life comes into play with all its demands, things can quickly become complicated. Balancing work, relationships, children, chores, fitness, and nutrition can feel overwhelming. How do we simplify it into manageable steps without losing our sanity? By focusing, planning, implementing changes, and staying committed. Over time, it gets easier, and a solid foundation helps you remain steady even when life throws challenges your way.
